Luscious and enticing is the best way to introduce our newest edition, 2015 North Coast Cabernet Sauvignon with aromas of dark cherry, blueberry and light hints of cedar. It is medium bodied with a balance tannins structure for instant gratification blended to drink now with rich flavors of blackcurrant, plum, violet and clove. This wine is built for pleasure.
Appellations: 60% Napa Valley, 25% Sonoma, 15% Mendocino
The Napa Valley Field Blend is a dark intense purple with just a touch blue hues, as you can imagine what follows on the nose is blackberries, cassis, blueberries and a sweet touch of vanilla and oak. The wine is rich on the palate, almost lip smacking. Sweet black currant, blackberries, and cherry flavors with a silky dense long finish. Pairs well with chicken, burgers or ribs just off the grill or barbequed meats.
Our Cabernet Franc is inspired from the wines from the Loire Valley and Bordeaux. The wonderful Napa Valley warm days add a richness of fruit that marries with the old world tradition. The wine is a pretty red with hues of shades of blue. On the nose it has delicate notes of Rose, Violets, Exotic spices, dark cherry fruit with a hue of tobacco.

Our 2014 Rutherford Cabernet Sauvignon is a dark ruby red with hues of dark purple and blue. On the nose it draws you in with black current and cassis fruit. Notes of Cedar, tobacco, and floral aromas are mixed with dark cocoa and the classic Rutherford Dust character.
The Leaky Lake vineyard of clay and loam soils lead to a rich seductive fruit forward wine. The 2014 Leaky Lake in the glass is dark with brilliant red and blue hues. The nose has notes of cherry, raspberry and sweet vanilla with notes of cola and spice. On the palate the wine follows the red fruit aromas with cherry, raspberry with black currants. The finish is a minute long, with sweet tannins from both the French oak and beautifully structured fruit of the Mayacamas Mountain. While very tempting to drink now cellar for 5-10 years will be well rewarded.
There are wines from day one of harvest that capture your attention. The 2013 Atlas Peak is one of those. It had great color and intensity from the start. Dark purple, blue and red colors capture the eye, while aromas of black currant and sweet plum lift from the glass. On the palate, the wine is rich with lush dark fruits, while a touch of oak adds complexity and length to the palate. The tannins are long and integrated. For those of you who had the chance to enjoy our 2012 Howell Mountain, this reminds us of that wine with more richness and depth. While extremely tempting to enjoy now, it will age beautifully for the next decade.
The 2012 Atlas Peak is a deep red color. Right from the start the wine has brighter notes than other Cabernets with more floral and spicey aromas, with a hue of sweet oak. You also taste Red raspberries and cranberry flavors, with a hint of all spice. The wine dances on the palate elegantly and pretty. The fruit has great structure with acidity and tannins. Do let the wine sit in the glass for a few minutes before drinking. A few years of cellaring will be well rewarded.
