In Napa Spring has arrived! Vines are pushing new buds and 2018 growing season has begun. We just bottled the 2017 Rosé. What says Spring better than a glass of Rosé? This year Syrah + Grenache make up our Rosé. Beautiful pale rose color, floral aromatic crisp on the palate with strawberry and cherry notes.
Bright and fresh, lively citrus fruit, green apple and a hint of pineapple creates the rich style you love about our Napa Sauvignon Blanc. Julien Fayard our (Napa Rock-star) winemaker has been creatively at work adding a touch of french oak to the 2017 vintage which will give you a richness on your palate with a crisp finish.
2017 Rutherford Sauvignon Blanc captures you with aromas of bright tropical pineapple, pears and bananas. Flavors of lemon, Granny Smith apples, fresh herbs with a faint taste of apricot from two and three year old French Oak barrel fermentation.
New Release! Wine Club Only Wine.
Rutherford Sauvignon Blanc is a rich wine all the way from the aromas to the palate with a long finish. The first impression is of tropical fruits that are followed by hues of lemon zest; granny smith apples, and green gage plums. On the palate you feel the richness of fruit with notes of vanilla from the French oak barrel aging. The richness is balanced with brightness from tropical fruits and a hint of minerality on the finish. Like all of the Cultivar wines, the 2016 Rutherford Sauvignon Blanc is a food wine that perfectly pairs with cheese goat and sheep milk cheeses and will work well with a variety of salads.
