This exceptional vintage, although more delicate than previous years, showcases the distinct structure and characters inherent to Pinot Noir. The resulting wine is a pale, pink color with ethereal aromas of pink lady apples and roses. The palette offers lively, expansive flavors of strawberry and cherries. This wine is thirst-quenching and will be a must have at all your spring and summer gatherings.

Bright, crisp and refreshing the 2016 Sauvignon Blanc is expressive with citrus, notes of grapefruit rind, key lime, and fresh basil. The richness of flint minerals, lemongrass and passion fruit on your palate created from the concrete egg fermentation is perfect for all Cultivar Napa Valley Sauvignon Blanc lovers. A perfect match for garden salads, heirloom tomatoes with burrata cheese and grilled fish.​
 

Rutherford Sauvignon Blanc is a rich wine all the way from the aromas to the palate with a long finish. The first impression is of tropical fruits that are followed by hues of lemon zest; granny smith apples, and green gage plums. On the palate you feel the richness of fruit with notes of vanilla from the French oak barrel aging. The richness is balanced with brightness from tropical fruits and a hint of minerality on the finish. Like all of the Cultivar wines, the 2016 Rutherford Sauvignon Blanc is a food wine that perfectly pairs with cheese goat and sheep milk cheeses and will work well with a variety of salads.

Luscious and enticing is the best way to introduce our newest edition, 2015 North Coast Cabernet Sauvignon with aromas of dark cherry, blueberry and light hints of cedar.  It is medium bodied with a balance tannins structure for instant gratification blended to drink now with rich flavors of blackcurrant, plum, violet and clove. This wine is built for pleasure.

Our 2014 Rutherford Cabernet Sauvignon is a dark ruby red with hues of dark purple and blue. On the nose it draws you in with black current and cassis fruit. Notes of Cedar, tobacco, and floral aromas are mixed with dark cocoa and the classic Rutherford Dust character.

We have used Merlot for a few of the Napa Cabernet wines in small additions to add aromas and structure to the Cabernet. A dark blue colored grape that is known for its softness and fleshiness. With the longer hangtime in Carneros our Merlot developed rich classic characteristics of Merlot with an added richness. Its brilliant red in the glass, with aromas of Dark Cherries, Plums, all spice and sweet vanilla. On the palate its rich and has sweet cherry fruit. A long finish with a touch of tannin. A great match for wild game, lamb and fall dishes. 

There are wines from day one of harvest that capture your attention. The 2013 Atlas Peak is one of those. It had great color and intensity from the start. Dark purple, blue and red colors capture the eye, while aromas of black currant and sweet plum lift from the glass. On the palate, the wine is rich with lush dark fruits, while a touch of oak adds complexity and length to the palate. The tannins are long and integrated. For those of you who had the chance to enjoy our 2012 Howell Mountain, this reminds us of that wine with more richness and depth. While extremely tempting to enjoy now, it will age beautifully for the next decade.

The Leaky Lake vineyard of clay and loam soils lead to a rich seductive fruit forward wine. The 2014 Leaky Lake in the glass is dark with brilliant red and blue hues. The nose has notes of cherry, raspberry and sweet vanilla with notes of cola and spice. On the palate the wine follows the red fruit aromas with cherry, raspberry with black currants. The finish is a minute long, with sweet tannins from both the French oak and beautifully structured fruit of the Mayacamas Mountain. While very tempting to drink now cellar for 5-10 years will be well rewarded.
