Caspar Estate is located on a hillside overlooking the Napa Valley. Our grandfather purchased property in 1962, as stewards of the land we have revived our old Mission olive grove, organically farmed the land, adding solar panels, predatory bird perches and bee hives.
We planted Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot, and Sauvignon Blanc grape varietals. With Julien Fayard as our winemaker our philosophy is aligned to produce Caspar Estate as terroir-driven wines, available by allocation. The Allocation consists of two shipments a year. We release the Sauvignon Blanc in the Spring and Cabernet Sauvignon in the Fall with any remaining bottles sold at our restaurant, Cultivar SF.
